Diane S. Peterson, RDH, M.Ed
Diane Peterson is a Professional Education Manager for Colgate Oral Pharmaceuticals, covering eight states in the Northeast region of the country.
In her role as a professional education manager, Diane gets to share her passion for the dental profession through her interactions with dental and dental hygiene students. Whether it’s through an evidence based interactive educational presentation about Colgate therapies or by participating in a community outreach project with students; being able to build a partnership with the future dental professional is what inspires her.
Prior to joining Colgate Diane has had many roles in the profession from clinician, advocate, researcher and educator. Each role helping shape the dental professional she has become today.
She received her Masters of Education in Education Leadership from the University of Vermont as well as her Associates in Science and Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Vermont
She is an active member of the American Dental Hygienists' Association, having served as a Past President of the Vermont Dental Hygienists’ Association and a District 1 Trustee. She is a member American Dental Education Association, the Sigma Phi Alpha Dental Hygiene Honor Society and a consultant member of the Commission on Dental Competency Assessments.
When not traveling all over the northeast you will find her spending time with family and friends enjoying the beautiful state of Vermont (Maple syrup and white cheddar cheese) where she calls home.
