Orabase Gel with Benzocaine |
Directions:
Cut tube tip at score mark. Adults and children 2 years of age and
older: Gently dab on the affected area with a cotton swab or finger
tip; a protective film will form in thirty seconds. Use up to 4 times
daily or as directed by a dentist or physician. Children under 12 years
of age should be supervised in the use of this product. Children under
2 years of age: Consult a dentist or physician.
Active ingredient:
Benzocaine (20%)
Inactive ingredients:
Ethyl Alcohol (48.2% w/w), Ethylcellulose, Flavor, Propylene Glycol, Salicylic Acid, Sodium Saccharin,
Tannic Acid, Water
Warnings:
KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. In case of accidental ingestion, seek professional
assistance or contact a Poison Control Center immediately. Avoid contact with eyes. A mild, but temporary,
burning sensation may be experienced upon application. If condition worsens, or if symptoms persist for
more than 7 days or clear up and reoccur, or if swelling, rash, or infection develops, discontinue use of
Orabase Gel and see your dentist or physician promptly. Do not exceed recommended dosage. Do
not use this product if you have a history of allergy to local anesthetics such as procaine, butacaine,
benzocaine, or other "caine" anesthetics. Extremely flammable. Keep away from fire or flame. Avoid smoking
during application and until product has dried.
